FREE Tshirt this Sunday

There are four different organizations that have come together to bring you the Impulse Card! NewTown Macon, College Hill Alliance, Macon-Bibb Convention and Visitor's Bureau and Macon Arts Alliance.

This Sunday College Hill Alliance is giving away t-shirts to anyone who shows their Impulse Card or signs up for one at Second Sunday Brunch.

Second Sunday Brunch is a free community event in Washington Park every Second Sunday. Bring your picnics, coolers, blankets and chairs and enjoy the day listening to live music. Washington Park is on the corner of Washington and College and the event is from noon until 2 p.m.

The Impulse Card


These days everyone is looking for ways to save money.... Eat out less, entertain yourselves at home, etc. The organizers and merchants in Downtown Macon fully understand the notion of "cutting back," but that no longer means you have to stay home.

The Impulse Card is a free discount card. Similar in appearance to your Kroger Plus card, the Impulse Card comes as a credit card size card with a key fob attached that you can keep on your key ring. Simply show your Impulse Card to one of the 30+ participating businesses and receive their special discount. The Impulse Card was started about three years ago as in intern project that caught hold and has continued to grow. The opportunities to sing up have expanded to four locations as well as online. Pick up your card at the College Hill Alliance in Mercer Village, Macon-Bibb Convention and Visitor's Bureau on MLK, Macon Arts Alliance on First Street, or NewTown Macon located on Cherry Street.

So, no more sitting at the house trying to save money. Get Downtown and start saving!

The Impulse Card is a FREE Downtown discount card that saves you money at over 30 businesses in Downtown Macon, Georgia. After signing up for the card (www.theimpulsecard.com) simply show the card at the participating business and receive the discount. There is a full listing of businesses that accept the Impulse Card on the website along with their contact information.

Registration locations have now expanded to four physical locations as well as on the website. You can pick up your Impulse Card - free of charge - at the College Hill Alliance office in Mercer Village, The Convention and Visitor's Bureau on MLK, Macon Arts Alliace on First Street, or NewTown Macon on Cherry Street.
